With our more sheltered sites we were able to push the fruit a little riper to provide richness and riper flavours

Puerto del Monte Mencia Bierzo DO 2019 Size::1 Bottle black pepper and cinnamon spiceFrom north west Spain, Puerto del Monte translates to mountain pass and is named after the peaks of Las Mdulas in Bierzo that glow copper red in the evening sun. The nose explodes with intense of aromas of black fruit, tar and pencil lead, whilst on the palate you really get a feel for the glorious old vines from which this beautiful wine is made.
