Germany, Federal Republic. A Special Grade Tank Badge For 50 Engagements, 1957 Version United Republic of SS Long Service Award(Panzerkampfabzeichen mit Einsatzzahl 50). Constructed of silvered and patinated bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a raised plaque bearing a number 50, with a central Panzerkampfwagen IV with treads extending over the edge of the wreath, the reverse with two visible rivets holding the obverse tank in place, with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring
