Germany, Luftwaffe. A Pilot’s Badge, by Friedrich Linden consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac heavy enamel loss to green(Flugzeugfhrerabzeichen). Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a swooping Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse with two visible rivets securing the eagle in place, unmarked but demonstrating the characteristics of manufacture by Friedrich Linden, Ldenscheid, measuring 63. 81 mm (w) x 53. 36 mm (h), weighing 34. 5 grams, most
