an oak leaf wreath lays in the quadrants between the cross arms
all set on a 175 mm-long bar with a horizontal pinback and field-grey wool reverse liner
There is a green and white enamelled peony suspension wreath denoting II class
Germany, NSFK. A Rare Glider Badge certificate_of_authenticity “Paris”(NSFK Segelfliegerabzeichen). Instituted 26 January 1942 by Friedrich Christiansen. (1942 1945). Constructed of silvered iron with enamels, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a Nationalsozialistisches Fliegerkorps (National Socialist Flyers Corps NSFK) insignia, overlaid by three white enameled gulls, the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and flattened vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch,
