In bronze, dated "1960 1961" on the reverse, measuring 34. 5 mm (w) x 60. 2 mm (h), discolouration evident on the reverse, original ribbon, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Medal of Government Gratitude (AKA Order of the Revolution) was instituted on January 27, 1962. This medal was for service in the rightist forces in the 1960 1961 "campaign" of civil war for political ascendancy
