Germany, Third Reich. A 1944 Small Calibre Tyrol Shooting Badge, By Carl Poellath Auction 1899 in Merţidort near Temeschburg(Kleinkaliber Schtzenabzeichen). Constructed of gilded bronze with multi coloured enamels, horizontal pinback, the obverse bearing a red enameled Tyrol style German national eagle clutching a target overlaid by a mobile swastika, flanked by a date of 1943, above an inscription of KK GEWEHR, the reverse maker marked C. POELLATH, SCHROBENHAUSEN, measuring 40 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
