Germany, Luftwaffe. A Flak Badge, by Gustav Brehmer Heer. A Flak/Artillery Hauptmann’s Service Tunic giving it a soiled-look in(Flak Kampfabzeichen der Luftwaffe). Constructed of silvered tombak, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, surrounding a central Flak 88 with its barrel raised and extending beyond the edge of the wreath, the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked BREHMER, MARKNEUKIRCHEN, measuring 44.
