Old Colour Map of West London, 1891 - St Johns Wood, Kilburn, Kensal Green, Finchley Rd, Willesden - NW6, NW8, NW2, W9, W10, NW10 Size:A2 (420x594mm) but with a vintageOriginally hailed as "the most perfect map of London that has ever been issued" by the Royal Geographical Society when it was published in 1891, it's safe to say that Edward's Stanford's library map of London was a masterpiece of cartography. This here is a beautifully handcoloured map from the 1891 edition of Stanford's map. The map was originally published in 24 sheets. Altogether the map would've measured about 2 metres wide (78 inches). This here
